About Me
Steve Woods trained as a Rural Science Teacher and worked as a Senior Park Ranger / Park Manager in a country park in Brandon, Suffolk. He developed his skills in green woodworking under Gudrun Leitz, one of the foremost green woodwork experts in the country.
Green Woodworking
Green woodworking is using unseasoned, home grown timber that is cut on site, using only hand tools therefore no electricity is used during the process. The wood we will be using is Sycamore (the traditional timber used for kitchen utensils as this wood doesn't taint food) and Ash. The wood will not travel as we resource it on site, and being green, there is usually very little sawdust.
